Sampurna Healing
Namaste! My name is Purnima, and I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. Born and raised in Nepal, and having moved to the U.S. as a teenager, I bring a deeply rooted understanding of what it means to live between worlds — to carry cultural expectations while also navigating personal longing, identity, and healing.
My therapeutic work is grounded in the belief that healing is a return to wholeness — not just the relief of symptoms, but a gentle homecoming to your true self. Rooted in the Nepali word “Sampurna,” meaning complete, my approach honors the full human experience: body, mind, spirit, and relationship.
Whether you’re navigating anxiety, disconnection, trauma, or relationship struggles, I offer a space that is warm, culturally sensitive, and grounded in compassion.
I offer therapy in English and Nepali, and I welcome individuals and couples from all walks of life, with a special heart for those from South Asian and immigrant backgrounds.
Services
Individual Therapy
In a world that constantly urges us to do more and be more, it’s easy to lose sight of our inherent worth. You may be feeling anxious, heavy with self-doubt, or quietly asking, ‘Am I enough?’ In our work together, we’ll slow down and gently listen to the parts of you that feel overwhelmed, unseen, or disconnected.
Couples/Family Therapy
Conflict is a natural part of any close relationship — especially in intimate partnerships. Rather than avoiding it, we will slow down together and explore what your conflict is trying to reveal about your deeper needs, fears, and longings. Through a safe, non-judgmental space rooted in empathy and acceptance, I’ll support you in turning toward each other with greater attunement, so you can rebuild trust, emotional safety, and connection.
